2. Services
We provide private transport & custom experiences across Iceland — airport transfers, hourly chauffeur, point-to-point transport, private day tours and multi-stop itineraries — alongside short and long-term van rentals. The exact scope of each booking is described on the relevant service page and on your booking confirmation.
3. Booking & payment
- Public tours and fixed-price transfers require 100% full payment upfront at the time of booking.
- Long-term hires, hourly private transport and custom itineraries may be quoted separately and invoiced by agreement.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider (Rapyd / Valitor). We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- All prices are shown in Icelandic Króna (ISK) and include VAT where applicable.
- Unpaid pending bookings expire automatically after 15 minutes and the held availability is released.
4. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details, flight numbers and contact information.
- Be at the agreed pickup location on time. Late arrivals beyond the agreed grace period may be treated as a no-show.
- For self-drive rentals: hold a valid driving licence, follow Icelandic traffic laws, and return the vehicle in the condition received (normal wear excepted).
- Behave respectfully toward our drivers and other passengers. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service in cases of unsafe, abusive or illegal behaviour.
6. Vehicles & availability
We operate an inventory-based availability engine: vehicles and drivers are allocated to bookings in real time. If a specific vehicle is unavailable due to mechanical issues, weather, or other operational reasons, we may substitute an equivalent or higher-category vehicle at no extra cost, or offer a full refund.
7. Weather, road conditions & force majeure
Iceland’s weather and road conditions can change rapidly. For safety reasons, we may modify, delay, or cancel a service. Where we are unable to deliver a booked service for reasons outside our control (severe weather, road closures, natural events, strikes, etc.), we will offer a reschedule or full refund.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking, except where higher liability is required by Icelandic mandatory consumer law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed connections beyond the agreed transfer, accommodation costs, or loss of enjoyment.
9. Insurance
Our vehicles are insured in accordance with Icelandic law. Additional rental insurance options may be offered at checkout. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the customer.
10. Privacy
Personal data you provide when booking is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
